Light Comparison
The chart below may be helpful in selecting an appropriate light for your application.
Amp Draw may be a significant concern if your application is primarily battery driven. If you use a 120 volt to 12 volt converter, this is less of an issue.
Cold Weather Suitable indicates a light that functions well in temperatures below 40º Farenheit.
Light Output is measured in Lux, measurements are taken 30" from the light, directly above, 45º and 90º from the centerline. Lux is a measurement of the
amount of light striking the work surface. It changes exponentially when the measurement distance changes. It should not be confused with Lumens which
are a measurement of the total amount of light emitted by a light source in all directions.

* Fluorescent lights are shown cold (when first turned on) and warm (after a 15 minute warm up period)
because the light output increases significantly as the light increases in temperature.
** The downward angle of these lights are adjustable. Measurements are taken with light pointing straight (0 degrees)
